WATCH: Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma shot atop a moving bus for Sui Dhaaga

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be seen as the lovable small-town pair Mauji and Mamta with big entrepreneurship dreams in Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. In Sui Dhaaga, which is directed by Sharat Katariya, Varun plays a tailor and Anushka will be seen as an embroiderer, who helps Mauji in his path to self-employment. For one of the scenes, which was prominently shown in the song Chaav Laaga, Varun and Anushka are seen travelling on the roof of a public bus.

Talking about the scene, Varun shared, "Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be seen as the lovable small-town pair Mauji and Mamta with big entrepreneurship dreams in Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. In the film, while Varun plays a tailor, Anushka will be seen as an embroiderer. For one of the scenes, which was prominently shown in the song Chaav Laaga, Varun and Anushka are seen travelling on the roof of a public bus."

On the other hand, Anushka said, "Sharat has an exceptional eye for detail. The scenes of struggle, the spirit of self-belief in people living in such towns in India – these visuals are etched in Sharat’s mind and he wanted to present the everyday life in rural India with perfection and authenticity. He wants audiences to understand the courage that people from such parts of India have. He wants audiences to believe in Mauji and Mamta. The bus scene shows how these two characters find support and love in each other to believe that they could make a name for themselves and realise their dreams."
