Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. Today, the director shared a video on his social media page that revealed how Vicky got his cool hairstyle for the film.
Vicky Kaushal is a promising star of 2018 and has proved his acting mettle with films like Love Per Square Foot, Raazi, Lust Stories and Sanju. His last release Sanju proved a complete gamechanger for him with so many accolades coming his way not only by the critics but audience as well. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, another excellent actor, who played the titular role of Sanjay Dutt. Yet, Vicky Kaushal managed to carve a niche for himself by playing the role of Kamli, Ranbir's best friend, in the film.
The actor will be next seen next in Manmarziyaan. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film is a love triangle and also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. After the trailer came out, people couldn't stop gushing about all the three leads, Vicky and Taapsee's chemistry, Abhishek's comeback after 2 years, the riveting background music and well, Vicky's freakishly cool and funky hairstyle in the film.
His fans were curious to know more about his hairstyle and how he got it done. So, today, director Anurag Kashyap shared a video in which Vicky Kaushal is getting this wacky hairdo done by hairstylist Aalim Hakim and who inspired them for it.
The director tweeted, "This was at 2 am, 4days before shoot @vickykaushal09 had gone straight to @aalimhakim , who had taken an overnight journey from another part of the world .. and we decided to plagiarise the hairstyle of @SukheMuzical for the plagiarist Vicky aka #DJSANDZZ #Manmarziyaan"

Manmarziyaan is set in the backdrop of Punjab and this is the first time Anurag Kashyap has made a romantic film. He has a penchant for making crime-thrillers and dark comedies, so this one is quite exciting. The film is slated to release on September 14, 2018.
