The trailer of Kajol starrer Helicopter Eela is out. The film shows the actor as an overprotective mother to National Award film winner Riddhi Sen, who plays her onscreen son.

On the occasion of Kajol's birthday, the actor decided to treat her fans with the trailer of her upcoming film Helicopter Eela. In the film, the talented actor is seen as an overprotective mother to her teenage son Riddhi Sen. The film is helmed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Ajay Devgn, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Reshmaa Kadakla, Kaushal Kantilal Gada and Neeraj Gala. The film is slated to release on September 8, 2018.

In the trailer, Kajol is seen taking up the challenge to complete her education and joins her son's college. Her son gives her this idea and the quirky mom makes sure to fulfil this dream too. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of her backs story, where Kajol aka Eela is seen as a successful singer with a loving husband and is having the best time with her small family. Helicopter Eela trailer is filled with mixed emotions and quirky moments too.

Helicopter Eela marks Kajol's return to Bollywood after three years. She was last seen in Dilwale opposite Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rohit Shetty which was released in the year 2015. Riddhi Sen, who plays Kajol's onscreen son won National Film Award for Best Actor this year. At the trailer launch, Sen was all praises for Kajol and said, "Kajol has an amazing sense of humour. She's an amazing human being."
