Virat Kohli gushes about married life with Anushka Sharma, ‘she has changed me a lot, have learnt from her’
Virat Kohli talked about cricket, setting records and about his married life in an interview. He credited wife Anushka Sharma for helping him grow as a person and said that he has learnt a lot from her.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will celebrate their first wedding anniversary today in Australia. Anushka wrapped up promotions of her film, Zero and flew to Australia to be with husband Virat on this special day. Virat and Anushka tied the knot in Tuscany in a dreamy wedding ceremony last year. They shared magical photos from their wedding festivities on social media. The couple has been setting personal and professional goals and are an inspiration to many. In an interview with Adam Gilchrist for BCCI, Virat Kohli opened up about his game, life beyond cricket and married life.
Virat Kohli was asked about life outside of cricket and he talked about married life with Anushka and said that they will celebrate their anniversary in Australia and like to do normal things when they are together in Mumbai. He also admitted that it is very hectic since they both are so busy. He also gushed about Anushka and credited her for helping him grow as a person. “When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different. It came with her own challenges & perspective on things,” he said.
He added, “It was amazing to just see myself- how much different things were to the way I think. I was not a very practical person before that. But, she has changed me a lot. I've learnt so much from her. That’s what it’s supposed to be like, you should help each other grow and she has certainly helped me grow.”
