Virat Kohli gives a thumbs up to fans chanting wifey Anushka Sharma’s name; Watch Video
The crowd at Brabourne Stadium went berserk as they chanted Anushka Sharma's name. And husband Virat Kohli was kind enough to reply with a sweet gesture.
Two days ago, India pulled off a ruthless win against West Indies, there taking a lead with 2-1 in the 5 match ODI series. The 4th match held on October 28, 2018, was a classic presentation of Indian bowling and fielding alike as the team defended a whopping score of 377 runs against the Windies. And well, something happened during the match which sure had the fans all geared up followed by a chant of Virat's wife Anushka's name from the crowd.
The entire crowd was chanting Anushka's name and well, it didn't go unnoticed as not only did Virat reacted to it with a thumbs up, but the video of the same has now gone viral. This happened while India was bowling, and it was Ravindra Jadeja's over. India did an extremely phenomenal job at the 4th ODI here in Mumbai, and it was in fact, a perfect comeback after the disappointing performance at the 3rd game in Pune. While Rohit Sharma made his 7th 150 plus score as he finished his innings at 162, Ambati Rayudu also displayed a marvellous performance as he scored a 100 for the team. The Windies couldn't last on the ground for long as they were all out at a mere 153 runs.
Talking about his win, skipper Kohli stated how the match was a tick on all the boxes and they were very clinical in bowling, batting and fielding alike. He also stated how the team is happy as they now are proud about getting back to the rythm.
The final (5th match) of the ODI series will be on November 1, 2018, in Thiruvananthapuram. A win in the finals will mean a win for team India for this series against West Indies.
