Virat Kohli credits Anushka Sharma after series win, 'She has been criticized a lot, but she kept me going'
Today, Indian captain Virat Kohli led the cricket team to 8-wicket victory against South Africa. The Indian Cricket Team won the series 5-1 against South Africa. After the match, Virat Kohli talked about the game and especially credited Anushka Sharma for her motivation and support.

“My wife has been keeping me motivated through out, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going through out this tour and when times have been tough and I am really grateful for that,” said Virat after the match.

Anushka and Virat had taken off to Finland for their honeymoon, post which she had accompanied him to South Africa. Earlier Virat had said if switching back to cricket after wedding was difficult, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all."
