Close friends and family members of Sonam Kapoor had a gala time at her Mehendi ceremony today. The pre-wedding festivities kicked off at Anil Kapoor’s residence.
Sonam looked radiant in a pink and ivory Anuradha Vakil lehenga and was color coordinated with husband-to-be Anand Ahuja. Sonam will tie the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018 at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s bungalow in the city.

The couple has been dating for a couple of years. They first met in 2014 after their mutual friend Pernia Qureshi introduced them, as per reports. Sonam has always been tight-lipped about her relationship with Anand. However, in a recent interview with FirstPost when asked about their social-media PDA, Sonam said, “Social media is in my control. I am not going to disrespect this person and be like that he doesn't exist in my life. At the same time, I am not going to disrespect that person by speaking about him and other people interpreting in a different way. So I will not talk about it or hide it."
She further added, “It's a rule basically Anand has put on both of us. Right before I sleep I have to put my phone on charging in the bathroom or I charge it in the hall of other room.”
