VIDEO: Karan Johar takes a dig on Ranveer Singh’s “looks”; calls Hrithik Roshan good-looking
Ranveer Singh is stunned by Karan Johar's comments on his looks.
Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are in London to attend the wedding festivities of a renowned industrialist’s daughter. Sonam Kapoor and alleged beau Anand Ahuja are also in the United Kingdom for over a week now to celebrate the wedding of their friend.
Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar took the center-stage as they hosted a sangeet event for the family. Karan and Ranveer were seen pulling each other’s legs at the event, much to the amusement of the audience.Ranveer had everybody in splits with his humorous antics and he set the stage on fire as he danced with the guests. Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor's dance was the highlight of the evening.
While hosting, Karan Johar, in jest took a dig at Ranveer’s looks. When Ranveer said that he was going to charm the audience by his LOOKS, Karan retorted, “WHICH ONES?”. It is unclear whether this punch was scripted or not, but Ranveer did get stunned by Karan's comment. Karan then turned to Hrithik Roshan and said, “That’s what you call good-looking Ranveer”. Ranveer too had a fan-boy moment with Hrithik and together he and Karan asked Hrithik for a selfie from the stage.
Karan said, “I want a selfie with Hrithik Roshan, it’s been a while”. Karan had earlier admitted that he persuaded Aditya Chopra to not sign Ranveer Singh in Band Baaja Baraat, but apologized to Ranveer for failing to recognize his talent on his show, Koffee with Karan.
On the work front, Ranveer has been busy with the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Incidentally, Ranveer Singh’s alleged girlfriend, Deepika Padukone is also holidaying in London with her family.
