Jaya Bachchan slams a fan who tried to take a selfie with her
Jaya Bachchan is a disciplinarian and is known to be outspoken. She has lost her cool in public many a times and today was no different. Jaya Bachchan visited a temple for darshan today and a fan tried to click a selfie as she was exiting the temple premises. Jaya got very angry and slammed the fan, she said, “Don’t do that, STUPID”. Jaya Bachchan recently lost her cool at Esha Deol’s Godh Bharai ceremony that was organized at Isckon Temple in Mumbai. The priest conducting the ceremony started taking selfies at the star-studded ceremony. Jaya Bachchan reprimanded the priest and said, “Please focus on your prayers”
About this incident, a family friend had said, “Jayaji didn’t snap at the priest. She just told him to concentrate on his work! People around laughed too. Jayaji is known to be extremely curt when she sees bad behaviour in public. She’d have probably given the priest a dressing-down if he had persisted with his star-struck behaviour. Luckily he saw sense in Jayaji’s advice and all went well thereafter.Bachchan saab, Abhi and Aishwarya are very diplomatic. You will never find them losing their cool in public no matter what the provocation. Mrs Bachchan is different.”
In another instance, Jaya Bachchan took on media reporters who addressed her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as “Aishwarya”. She said, “Is she your friend”. The sharp-tongued actress and parliamentarian never minces words.
