Video: Gold actor Mouni Roy gets mobbed over selfies by fans
Mouni Roy recently got mobbed by a group of fans wanting a selfie. The actor seemed uncomfortable while exiting the theatre.
Mouni Roy recently made a stellar Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar in the movie Gold which was helmed by Reema Kagti. The movie had an ensemble cast which included Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, among others in pivotal roles. A recent video of Mouni from the Gold premiere has now gone viral wherein she is seen getting mobbed by a swarm of fans asking her for selfies. Mouni is seen trying to look for an escape route with her manager asking the male fans, in particular, to behave and give her space but im vain. Finally, her friend and TV actor Aamir Ali helped her get into the car safely.
Videos of stars getting mobbed are not new but it is sad to see actors facing such difficulties. Mouni has always been a popular face on Indian Television and the actor has now made her way to Hindi movies, Next in line the actor has Brahmastra in her kitty which a huge leap for her considering the movie is backed by Dharma Productions. In the movie, Mouni is paired alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan among others. The cast is currently in London for the shooting. Brahmastra releases next year during Independence Day.
Moving on, she has RAW alongside John Abraham. The team has already begun prepping for the same. Apart from this, she has also signed Made In China alongside Rajkummar Rao. With such an interesting pipeline, we are sure to see a lot of Mouni on the big screens.
Meanwhile, speaking of Gold, the period drama has finally crossed Rs 100 crore and has emerged to be a successful bit for the makers. The movie has opened to good reviews this Independence Day.
