A video footage from 2008 shows Tanushree Dutta's car being attacked by a mob. Tanushree has alleged that Nana Patekar called goons on the film's set to intimidate her.
Tanushree Dutta has accused actor Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of 2008 film Horn Ok Pleass. Tanushree refused to do intimate steps that were added in the song at the behest of Nana Patekar. Ganesh Acharya, the song’s choreographer had changed the steps so that Nana Patekar could allegedly get intimate with Tanushree. Nana Patekar also pushed her and intimidated her on the sets. When Tanushree refused to shoot the song, Nana Patekar called goons on the set to intimidate Tanushree.
A video footage from 2008 shows Tanushree’s car being attacked by a mob. Tanushree is seen handling the situation calmly with her father being present in the car. A mob surrounds her car and many are seen banging on the car doors and windows, jumping on the car and deflating her car tires. Tanushree shared in a series of interviews that she was so horrified by the mob attack that even after being offered multiple films, she could not go back on film set. Tanushree’s parents contacted the police, who is seen arresting people from the mob and helping the car move ahead.
Tanushree had filed an FIR then but the makers had filed a counter FIR and the matter was not pursued further. However, Tanushree has spoken up again after a decade and has said that she wants Nana Patekar to face consequences for his actions. Tanushree has said that she wants Nana Patekar and Ganesh Acharya to be banned from the film industry.
Tanushree has also called out stars like Rajinikanth, Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar for working with Nana and Ganesh Acharya.
She has received support from Bollywood stars like Sonam K Ahuja, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha and many others.
