Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got emotional as she talked about her father’s birth anniversary at an event today. She remembered her father at a charity event in the city today.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been supporting various causes and is deeply involved with many charities. Her philanthropic initiatives are not known to many, but Aishwarya has been sponsoring surgeries for many children.
Today, at an event, Aishwarya talked about the initiative and also remembered father Krishnaraj Rai. Aishwarya got emotional as she talked about her father’s birth anniversary. Last year, she visited a hospital with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Vrinda Rai on late Krishnaraj Rai’s birth anniversary. She emphasized the importance of life.
Aishwarya’s father passed away in March last year after succumbing to cancer. She was by her father’s side throughout and had cancelled all her professional commitments. She also took a five-month break after father’s demise to be by her mom Vrinda Rai’s side.

Aishwarya has been busy with the shoot of her next film, Fanne Khan with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She has been approached by many filmmakers and is likely to sign Shaailesh Singh’s film on the dotted line.
The film will see Aishwarya team up with hubby Abhishek. The couple will be playing the role of a cop. A source had told a leading daily, “An official announcement to this regard will be made soon. Shaailesh is very keen on the project - the story is about cops based in Uttar Pradesh, who are also married to each other. It is a very intense film; there is a new director who will be helming the film. An announcement will be made very soon on the project.”
