Veere Di Wedding: Kareena Kapoor Khan’s candor caught on camera by Rhea Kapoor

There is immense excitement amongst fans for Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback film, Veere Di Wedding. After the trailer launch of the film, fans are waiting with bated breath for the film to release. This will be Kareena’s first release after the birth of son, Taimur Ali Khan.

Kareena and co-star Sonam Kapoor have started promoting the film. Producer Rhea Kapoor today, shared BTS videos from the promotional shoot for the film.

At the trailer launch, Kareena had credited Rhea Kapoor for adjusting the film’s schedule as Kareena got pregnant after signing the film. Kareena had said, “I got pregnant after signing the film, so I told Rhea about it and that they need to take someone else. As a producer, she stood by me. She decided to change the character to be pregnant. But then I told them that I can’t do this. However, it was Rhea’s conviction that she said, ‘Let’s just wait for some time.”

Earlier in an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Kareena had said, “She (Rhea) stood by the film through thick and thin. Picture this, you have money, a script, time and your heroine calls you up to tell you that she is pregnant. Rhea reworked her script to add the pregnancy angle (which was eventually dropped), even though I told her to go ahead with an actress 10 years younger. At a time when producers drop an older actress for no particular reason, Rhea, who is a woman of gumption, courage and conviction, told me that the film was all about women and there was no way she was going ahead without me.”
