Veer Zaara completes 14 years; Preity Zinta posts a nostalgic message remembering Yash Chopra
Veer Zaara has now completed 14 years of its release. Preity Zinta took to Instagram to share a video that shows scenes from the film and posted a nostalgic message.
If you are a big fan of romantic films, we are sure you must have not missed this love saga called Veer Zaara. It’s a love story of two individuals from India and Pakistan who meet each other and fall in love. Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta gave a perfect meaning to the cinematic vision of Yash Chopra. It went on to become one of the hit films and still has that recall value. In Veer Zaara, SRK player Veer, an Indian Army Officer, who falls in love with Zaara (Preity), a Pakistani girl. Well, the movie has now completed 14 years of its release.
Preity took to Instagram to share a video that shows scenes from the film and posted a nostalgic message. “Remembering Yash Uncle today as #VeerZaara turns 14. I feel so fortunate to be part of this timeless, decent, inspiring & full of heart film! It’s sad we don’t love Like that anymore.

Veer Zaara was initially titled, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum after the song from the 1981 film Silsila but was changed later. The film marked Yash Chopra's return as a director after seven years post Dil To Pagal Hai. The film became the top-grossing Bollywood film of the year 2004 at both the Indian and the international box office.
Apart from Veer-Zaara, Shah Rukh and Preity have worked together in hit films like Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. SRK was Preity's first male co-star when she debuted in Dil Se (1998).
