Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu are color-coordinated at the world premiere of October

Varun Dhawan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, October. The film, directed by Shoojit Sircar also features debutante Banita Sandhu. The much-awaited movie is scheduled to release this Friday i.e, April 13, 2018.

Varun and Banita were in Dubai for the world premiere of the movie. A source close to the film had told a leading daily, “The entire team is happy and excited about the Dubai premiere as the world of October will finally be unveiled to a movie-loving audience overseas.”

We got our hands on a video today, where the two were super-excited for the world premiere in Dubai.

Talking about the film, Varun had said, “Shoojitda is a fascinating person, and this film is not a cliché love story. It shows you what the definition of true love is. It’s a much misused term today and used very poorly by people, including myself. While shooting, I understood the meaning of love and it hit me so strongly. As a kid when I used to ask mom what is love, she’d explain it to me in the purest way but as we grow, it becomes so adulterated, and you wonder how the same word can have so many different meanings. So, October beautifully explains it to you.”

Talking about 'October', Shoojit had said, "It is a very simple film. After the trailer we've been getting responses like it is intriguing, thriller or suspense film, there is nothing like that, it is a very simple story. Not a love story, but it is a story about love."
