URI Teaser: Vicky Kaushal's film shows one of the most defining moments of Indian Army

Vicky Kaushal is on a roll and considering his line-up of the film, we know we have got our gen-next hero. Be it Raazi or Sanju, Vicky Kaushal has proved his mettle as an actor. Now, he will be seen in a military drama, Uri. The film is based on Indian Army’s surgical strikes on terror launch pads across Line of Control (LoC). In the morning, Vicky shared the poster of the film and we were sure that he will give a promising act in the teaser. He took to Twitter to share the teaser of his much-awaited film, Uri. 

He wrote, "A defining moment in India’s military history. A moment that paved a path to a new, stronger India. Here’s presenting, #URITeaser : http://bit.ly/URIOfficialTeaser … @yamigautam #AdityaDhar @RonnieScrewvala @RSVPMovies." The starts how on the morning of September 18, 2016, 19 of the Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistani terrorists. The Uri attacks changed the whole fate of the cross-border relations between the two nations. In the teaser, you get to see Vicky is all set to avenge the death of his fellow soldiers. We can see the true actor in Vicky and we are sure that he is back with one more promising act.

Well, this is a story that is meant to be told. It's Paresh Rawal's strong voice that adds an impact to the teaser - Yeh Naya Hindustan Hai, Yeh Ghar Mein Ghusega Bhi and Marega Bhi. We wonder if teaser is this strong, then how impacting would the trailer be. It was previously reported that Kaushal went through extensive military training for Uri. In an interview, Vicky had mentioned that he had to train for at least five hours a day. 

URI is directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also stars Yami Gautam in pivotal role. It is set to hit the theatres on January 11, 2019.
