Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has shared a new video on his Instagram page where he has announced his next film titled Rifleman. He added a catchy caption to the video which read, “An advancing enemy. A border to protect. One Braveheart. #Rifleman.” The Kedarnath actor announced about his upcoming film on the occasion of Army Day. The video shows a background of a war like situation with bullets being fired all around. Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing the lead role in this film.
Sushant’s is currently busy with the promotions of his first film of the year 2019, Sonchiriya. Bhumi Pednekar, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Bajpayee and Ashutosh Rana will be playing important roles in the film. The film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and its story is based on the background of the dacoits of the Chambal area. The official trailer of the film was released on January 7, 2019. The release of the trailer has been able to create a lot of buzz among the Indian audiences as well as the critics. The film would be giving a glimpse of the lives of the dacoits of the villages in Central area during the 1970s.
Sushant was last seen in the film Kedarnath along with newbie Sara Ali Khan in lead roles which released on December 7, 2018. The film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The film was set on the backdrop of the Kedarnath floods of the year 2013 which had claimed the lives of many people.
