Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma bring to you a heartfelt story from the heartland of India with Sui Dhaaga: Made in India. This is for the first time that Varun and Anushka have come together for a movie and we cannot suppress our excitement about the same. The movie is said to be a glorious tribute to the handloom styles in India and loosely based on the Made In India campaign kickstarted by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Indian Government.

In the movie, Varun plays the role of Mauji, a tailor with a distinctive mustache adorning his face, while Anushka plays Mamta, an embroiderer who looks beautiful in a saree. Varun and Anushka's look for the movie has always been the talking point and it is a pleasure to see how seamlessly they have got into the skin of the character. The trailer focuses on the handloom industry in India, the difficulty to sustain in this rampant globalization. Varun and Anushka make us emotional as we dig more into the trailer making our hearts swell in pride with the amount of talent our country nurtures.

The trailer gives is very much relatable with the story kept simple backed by brilliant performances by Varun and Anushka. In the trailer, you will see how Mamta becomes the backbone of Mauji in making him realize his potential - the journey from being unemployed to self-employed is just beautiful. Varun and Anushka's chemistry makes us wonder why we didn't get to see them earlier.

Dialogues also add to the story:

Anushka: Apni Banayi Cheezo Par Apni Mohar Lagakar Bechenge

Varun: Ab Zindagi Ki Cycle Pe Maarna Padega Pedal, Chahe Mile Na Medal, Kyun Ji

The movie aims to bring the handloom industry to mainstream given that the textile industry is perhaps the largest industry in India which is slowly losing relevance, much to the woes of our artisans.
