Sridevi comes home: Fans flock outside her residence to pay their last respects

Celebrated actor and an icon, Sridevi passed away in Dubai on Saturday. She slipped in her hotel bathroom and drowned in the bath-tub, forensic reports suggested. Her passing away has shocked the entire nation and her ardent fans are in disbelief.

Sridevi was timeless and one of the best actors of the country. Her fan following is immense and her passing away has left her fans and well-wishers heartbroken. Fans all across the country are in a state of shock. Fans have gathered at Anil Kapoor’s residence. Many fraternity members including Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Rajnikanth and others also arrived at Sridevi’s residence to offer their condolences.

Sridevi’s mortal remains were brought to her residence today. Anil Ambani’s private jet was sent to Dubai to bring back Sridevi’s mortal remains, however there was a delay in getting her back to the country due to the ongoing investigation.

Fans have now flocked outside Sridevi’s residence in Lokhandwala to pay their tribute to her. As the ambulance entered her building, fans were seen running behind it. Grief-stricken and teary eyed fans gathered around Sridevi’s residence.

The Kapoor family released a statement that suggested that fans and well-wishers will be able to pay their last respects to the veteran actor in the morning tomorrow. Security has been tightened outside her residence as more fans are expected to come in to the city from all over the country tomorrow.

Her last rites will take place at 3.30 PM tomorrow.
