Sonam Kapoor’s mother Sunita Kapoor shakes a leg with Anand Ahuja

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s pre-wedding event was a fun-filled affair. A grand pre-wedding event was organized at Sonam Kapoor’s apartment. The venue was decorated with beautiful flowers and the dress code is white. Sonam and Anand made for the perfect couple as they twinned in beige colored outfits.

After the Mehendi application, guests grooved to singer Sukhbir Singh’s tunes. Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor and Katrina Kaif burned the dance floor. Janhvi Kapoor also joined cousin Shanaya Kapoor on the dance floor.

Sonam Kapoor and husband-to-be also danced together. They got cheered by their friends and cousins. Sonam’s chooda and kaleera ceremony also took place today.

Sonam Kapoor’s beau Anand Ahuja matched steps with would-be mother-in-law Sunita Kapoor. They danced on ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’.

Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Rekha, Rani Mukerji and other guests looked ethereal as they arrived for the ceremony. Jacqueline Fernandez shared lovely photos and videos from the pre-wedding event on her social media account.

The wedding will take place at noon tomorrow; the reception party will be hosted in the evening. Sonam’s cousins and friends have been rehearsing to perform at the party.

The couple’s honeymoon will be postponed as Sonam will head to Cannes a couple of days after the wedding. She will be walking the red-carpet on the 14^th and 15^th May.

“Anand won't be at Cannes with her but the couple is planning an October-November honeymoon,” a source had informed Mumbai Mirror.
