Sonam Kapoor: Being around Anand Ahuja makes me very happy

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to tie the knot in Geneva this summer. The couple will tie the knot on May 11 and host a reception on May 12 in Geneva.

“The date and venue for the wedding have been locked and mass bookings for flights are presently underway. Her dad Anil Kapoor is personally making phone calls to invite guests. There will be sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, followed by a traditional Hindu wedding,” a source from the team planning the wedding told a leading daily.

“The nuptials will be preceded by an engagement ceremony attended by the family’s inner circle but the venue for that is presently not known,” the source added. 

Sonam has never spoken about her personal life but her social media PDA with Anand Ahuja was proof of their relationship. Sonam and Anand have been dating for a couple of years and will get hitched in a destination wedding this year.

In January this year, Sonam was the cover-girl of Elle as part of their Happiness project campaign. Sonam looked pretty on the cover and shined bright on it.

For the magazine, Sonam revealed ten things that makes her happy. She said, “Anything that’s artistic, that’s sensitive- emotion and compassion, pets, great meal, nature.”

She added, “My work makes me very happy. I love acting.”

“Being around Anand makes me very happy,” Sonam quipped.

About her relationship with Anand Ahuja, Sonam had earlier said, “This is just keeping it a little sacred. Just keeping it in my control, whatever is out there is in my control, it’s not something that is not. I just feel that it’s not okay to talk about it.”
