Shah Rukh Khan: Sridevi is more or less a legend, have learnt a lot from her
Sridevi's family is devastated with this sudden and shocking loss. She suffered a cardiac arrest in Dubai and passed away at around 11 PM in her hotel. She will last be seen on the screen in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero.
The sudden demise of Bollywood actress Sridevi has left the Indian film industry in shock with many celebrities expressing their grief on social media. She was a person who at the age of 54 gave competition to all her contemporaries and even young generation of actors. Last year, she played the central character in director Ravi Udyawar’s Mom.
She will be seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero that has Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. The film is centred on a dwarf with charming qualities. Apparently, it’s a party scene where Sridevi will be seen playing herself. Shah Rukh and Sridevi go back a long way and even worked together in a film, Army.
We came across an old video of SRK taking about working with Sridevi in Army. In the video, he said, "I have really enjoyed working with Sridevi. I had heard a lot about her and she is more or less a legend. One has a lot of myths about her that she switches off in front of the camera. I wanted to see it first hand and at the end of it, I came back learning that she has a whole process of seeing herself while performing in front of the camera. The lady has been working for the last 35 years, so she knows so much about everything that goes into filmmaking. I have learnt a lot from her."
