Shah Rukh Khan received by a maddening crowd at the Kolkata airport as he attends Kolkata Film Festival 2018

Shah Rukh Khan is currently in the city of joy, Kolkata as he will be inaugurating the Kolkata Film Festival 2018. And, as the King of Bollywood arrived at the airport, he was received by a maddening crowd of fans. In a classic SRK style, the actor waved at everyone who was there, and gave out some flying kisses to everyone. The Kolkata Film Festival 2018 is celebrating 100 years of Bengali cinema, and the inaugural event was held at Netaji Indoor Stadium earlier in the day.

Attending the festival will also be the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Waheeda Rehman, Mahesh Bhatt, and many other who who’s of the film industry. Shah Rukh Khan is currently riding high on the success of the trailer of his film, Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. His film will also have a world premiere at the Kolkata Film Festival 2018

At the film festival, Shah Rukh Khan in his speech said how even though the world is coming closer with the technological advancement, there is something that is still making us divisible and the only thing that can bring us together is one or other form of art, whether it is hip hop or classical music. He also said that that the one thing that brings us the closest is cinema and that he hopes and prays and wishes all the participants that they make some great films. He also thanked Mamata Banerjee for having everyone at the festival.
