Selena Gomez turned 26 today. Fans and well-wishers from across the globe are pouring in with their sweet messages for the singer on her social media accounts.

Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey recently shared a video from 1997 when Selena was a five year old. The video from ‘Wolves’ singer’s childhood is adorable. Mandy captioned it, “@selenagomez talking to me on the phone when I was at work asking about her day at school. My sassy, independent, boss lady, adorable gigantic piece of my heart, first born love.”

In the video, Selena can be seen telling her mother, “My teacher said I gotta do all this stuff again. I gotta do it by myself. I’m going crazy, you gotta help me over here! You better girl.”
