Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared the making of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Sindhi wedding outfits; WATCH
Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the lehenga for Deepika Padukone and the sherwani for Ranveer Singh for their Anand Karaj ceremony. The designer shared what went into the making of the two outfits. Take a look.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding was one of the much awaited events of this year. The two tied the knot at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy on November 14-15. Both Deepika and Ranveer wore designer outfits by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. They married each other as per Konkani and Sindhi rituals. For both the weddings, the two work different outfits. For the Anand Karaj, Sabyasachi had designed a red coloured lehenga for Deepika while he created a similar color Sherwani for Ranveer.
Today, the designer took to Instagram to share the video of what went into making Deepika’s stunning lehenga and Ranveer’s signature sherwani. In the video, we can see Deepika’s lehenga being sketched and then being created by the craftsmen. The sanskrit shloka that was inscribed on her dupatta can also be seen in the video. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s red sherwani also required intricate detailing and the designer went all in to create the perfect outfit for Bollywood’s superstar.

Isn’t it amazing? Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh returned to India on November 18 post which they hosted a reception at Bengaluru. After that, they attended a bash by Ritika Bhavnani where the twe newlyweds partied along with their close family and friends. Now, today, they will be attending another reception which is for the close family and friends of Bhavnani family. The party for Bollywood will be on December 1. In the meantime, the newlyweds, Deepika and Ranveer, have been leaving their fans in awe of their happiness with their wedding and reception photos.
