Ranveer Singh, Zoya Akhtar & Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy gets a ‘toodles’ twist by KJO & it is hilarious AF; WATCH

If there is one film that has got the nation’s attention, it is Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming movie, Gully Boy. Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin in the lead roles, the movie is inspired by the lives of street rappers Naezy and Divine. The team of the film has been aggressively promoting their upcoming venture which is slated to hit the screens next week. Today, Ranveer, Alia and Zoya were all decked up for a promotional event as they bumped in Karan Johar. The Koffee With Karan 6 host has been famous for his toodles videos which he started on the sets of India’s Got Talent. 

Thus, when he met the team of Gully Boy, Karan gave their meeting a toodles twist. He took to Instagram to share a video in which we can see Karan talking to Zoya Akhtar, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. First, he asks Zoya about her upcoming film’s popularity and says, “Apna TimeAageya.” Post this, he compares Alia’s look of the day with cassata ice cream to which Alia responds in a funny way. Later, Ranveer joins in and Karan comments on his shirt which has tiger print all over it. 

Ranveer’s response to KJo surely will crack you up. All four of them together surely stirred up some fun and candid conversations. Also, Alia revealed that toodles was Zoya and her discovery. Their camaraderie is surely hard to miss.

Isn’t that totally funny? Talking about Gully Boy, the movie will be screened at the Berlin Film Festival 2019. The movie’s trailer shows the journey of rags to riches of Ranveer's character as he goes on a quest to follow his dreams. Also, the new promo which came out a day before showed Alia’s jealous girlfriend side and left all of us intrigued. The songs of the film Mere Gully Mein and Apna Time Ayega are already topping the charts. Now, we can’t wait to see the film which is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
