Ranveer Singh reveals how his wife Deepika Padukone greets him post Simmba’s success at Umang 2019.
Fresh out of the success for Simmba, Ranveer Singh today made a roaring entry at the Umang 2019 awards show underway in Mumbai. The actor dressed in tiger print from head to toe surely made us all turn our heads in that flashy attire which by all means only Ranveer could have pulled off. The Simmba actor met up with Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn at the event and the awesome foursome even did a little gig before they dived into the award show. A video of Ranveer thanking the Simma director Shetty has found a way on the internet wherein an overwhelmed Ranveer is seen thanking Rohit for Simmba.
He says, “Life bana di aapne meri Sir,” as he thanked Shetty and revealed that now the situation is such that his wife Deepika Padukone says, ‘Aya Police’ when he enters home. The audience erupts in laughter post this while we cannot stop gushing over how adorably he speaks about Deepika. Ranveer was seen essaying the role of a cop in Simmba which is enjoying a great business in cinemas even today. The movie, also starring Sara Ali Khan, is a treat to Bollywood movie buffs. Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up for his next release Gully Boy which will see him in a completely different avatar. The actor is being paired alongside Alia Bhatt in the movie which has been directed by Zoya Akhtar. Gully Boy releases on February 14, 2019, and is one of the highly anticipated movies this year. The teaser and jukebox for the movie have already garnered a lot of positive response from all quarters.
