Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh solemnized their six year old relationship in November last year. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. They tied the knot as per Konkani customs and their Anand Karaj ceremony took place on November 15, 2018. Deepika Padukone had spilled the beans about their wedding ceremonies and had opened up about how love blossomed between her and Ranveer Singh during the prep of their first film together, Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela on Famously Filmfare.
She had said that she knew Ranveer Singh was special when they met at Yash Raj Studios and he flirted with her ‘like nobody’s business’. Deepika had revealed that Ranveer was then in a relationship with someone else. Ranveer Singh will be making an appearance on the next episode of Famously Filmfare and in the promo released by the channel, Ranveer Singh talks about becoming the ‘husband of the millenium’ and reveals that Deepika is ‘gharelu’ and he loves that.
Ranveer Singh says, “Muskurake do meethi baatein kisi bhi insaan se kar lo isko flirting nahi bolte.” (Exchanging sweet pleasantries with someone does not count as flirting)
