Ranveer Singh chops off his tresses; check out before-after look
Ranveer Singh looks handsome in a new hairstyle.
After wrapping up the shoot of Padmavati, Ranveer Singh got a new haircut today. The actor today went to a salon to get a new hairdo and boy, he looks handsome.
Ranveer shared a before and after video on his Instagram account. In the before video, he is seen sporting long hair. He captioned the video saying, ‘’Old me.’’ In another video, the actor is seen getting a new hairdo by a stylist which he captioned, ‘In Process.’
In the last video, the Kill Dill actor shared his new look. He captioned it, ‘’New me! Voila! ’’
On the professional front, Ranveer is excited about his film Padmavati which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this is his third film with him after Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani.
In the film, he is playing the role of the menacing antagonist, Alauddin Khilji. Talking about his character, he told an entertainment magazine, "I’m s**t scared. I’m playing an anti-hero. Only when I see the film, will I be able to assess my character. It’s a risky move for me. That’s why I took so much time to sign it. For a mainstream leading man to make a choice like this at this stage is dicey. It’s a despicable character. He’s mean. One of my seniors, and who I believe is one of the greatest actors of all time, advised me to be careful. She told me the Indian audience is naïve. If they love a character, the love will transfer to the actor who played it. In this case, if they hate my character, the hate will be transferred to me."
Padmavati is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
