Rani Mukerji shoots with Sourav Ganguly for his show Dadagiri, watch video

Rani Mukerji is making her comeback after giving birth to Adira Chopra in 2015. The actress will be seen in Hichki which is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma.

The actress is going all out with the promotions of the movie. She recently appeared on Sourav Ganguly's reality show Dadagiri. It is a regional TV show and quite popular in West Bengal due to its interactive nature.

On the show, Rani looked amazingly gorgeous in a white saree which she teamed with red lipstick and nude makeup. We got our hands on a video from the episode shoot, where Rani is all praises for Sourav Ganguly. She tells him that she loved watching him bat with those elegant cover drives and techniques that made him the ruler of the off drive in the cricket field. Then, she asks him about his Hichki in life. And you have to hear what the flamboyant batsman has to say.

Speaking of Hichki, Rani plays the character of Naina Mathur who has a nervous system disorder, Tourette Syndrome that forces an individual to make involuntary repetitive movements or sounds. Hichki focusses on turning disadvantages into opportunities and staring down at challenges that life throws at one and ultimately winning over them.

Meanwhile, when Rani was asked about her comeback earlier, the actress stated, "I was looking for a script that would challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each one of us has a weakness that pulls us back, it could be a disability or any condition but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won't come in the way of achieving your dreams. Hichki is built on this positive premise and I have decided to take it up."

Hichki is slated to release on February 23, 2018.
