Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan share a warm hug as they pay last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor
Celebs paid their last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor yesterday. Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan exchanged pleasantries and shared a warm hug at the funeral.
Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away yesterday after a cardiac arrest. Bollywood celebrities arrived at the Kapoor residence to pay their last respects to the Kapoor matriarch. Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, Aamir Khan and other stars paid their last respects. Rani Mukerji also arrived and was seen consoling the bereaved family. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived with her mother Vrinda Rai and as she arrived, Sonam K Ahuja was leaving RK house. The actors hugged it out before Aishwarya went inside the house to meet the family.
As Aishwarya and her mother waited for their car while leaving, they met Rani Mukerji who was waiting outside the house with Athiya Shetty. Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were seen exchanging pleasantries. They shared a warm hug post which she left with her mother after paying her last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor. Rani Mukerji stayed back and was seen having a conversation with Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji. Watch the video:
Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were close friends in the beginning of their careers. However, after Rani replaced Aishwarya in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chalte Chalte after Salman Khan had allegedly misbehaved on the sets of the film, the actors had a fallout. They did not speak for many years. Rani and Aishwarya buried the hatchet recently after Rani visited Aishwarya after the demise of her father last year. Aishwarya also went to meet Rani Mukerji after her father’s demise earlier this year.
