Raid Trailer: Ajay Devgn as Income Tax officer is badass and fearless; Saurabh Shukla plays a perfect villain

Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'cruz starrer Raid trailer is finally out today. The film also stars Saurabh Shukla in a negative role.

Ajay plays the role of Amay Patnaik, the deputy commissioner of Income Tax department. The film is set during the 1980s in Lucknow. Ileana plays the role of his wife.

The story is based on different raids and the main plot being one of the longest raids in the country. From the very first scene, it looks intriguing and Ajay's rough and tough, fearless persona in the trailer is impressive. His character leaves no stone unturned to put an end to those who indulge in corruption.

His chemistry with Ileana looks beautiful and their relationship as husband-wife can be seen as mature and based on trust and mutual understanding.

The dialogues of the film are interesting and powerful. The background music makes it look even more dynamic and exciting.

Saurabh convincingly looks like a badass villain as Tauji, who is the most powerful man in Lucknow and is involved in corruption and won't let anyone including Ajay bring him down. 

There is drama, suspense and thrill in the film and we are really excited.

The film has a tagline - Heroes Don't Always Come in Uniform. The trailer proves why it is apt for Ajay's character in the film.

Raid is directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by  Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. 

Raid will be releasing on March 16, 2018.
