Not only Ajay but also his 85-year-old co-star Pushpa Joshi, who features as Saurabh Shukla’s mother in the movie has been garnering a lot of adulation for her role in the film. The woman from Lucknow made her debut with Raid. Ajay Devgn ensured to make her comfortable on the sets and never made her wait on the scene.
Today, Kajol shared an adorable video of her on Twitter and wrote, " Here comes amma...you would want to take her home." Looking into the camera, Pushpa Joshi is doing her bit to promote her maiden film and even praised the team for taking good care of her.
Earlier when Kajol shared her review of Raid, she confessed her love for amma's character. She watched the film along with her son Yug and took to Twitter and wrote, "My review of Raid:- Loved it. Laughed, clapped and wanted to take Amma home with me ! Yugs review:- I learnt about income tax!"
Talking about his role, Ajay Devgn had earlier said, "The character is very heroic but the struggle was that it is a real character. So we had to make a conscious effort to keep it real. Even if he has to say a punch line it should look like it is said by a real person. We have done our best to portray the character as realistically as possible, but now time will tell if the audience will like it."
