Raazi title track is crooned by Arijit Singh. The music is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and the lyrics are penned by Gulzar.
Raazi is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar & Apoorva Mehta. Apart from Alia, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Amruta Khanvilkar, Rajit Kapoor, Shishir Sharma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ashwath Bhatt and Soni Razdan in pivotal roles.
Raazi is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
Talking about challenges while shooting for Raazi, Alia told DNA, "Learning to drive the jeep and all those things were technical things. But the real challenge was to play the character. These things are there just to pad up the character, so it makes my life a little easier. But these are not what I can depend on to make my character outstanding."
About his character in the film, Vicky told DNA, "I would want you to see the film. That’s the beauty of the story. It’s not just an India-Pakistan story. It breaks the law and universal mindset that we have — that people on this side are heroes and those on the other side are villains. It’s a more human story. I’m playing someone in the Pakistani army who loves his family. It’s where duty comes first and relationships are secondary. At such crossroads, the decisions you take not only affect your life but also your country’s future."
