The Pulwama terror attack has everyone mourning the loss of more than 40 CRPF jawans in a terrorist attack by Pakistan's terrorist organisation, Jaish-E-Mohammad. This has left everyone raging in anger and post the attacks came FWICE's decision to ban any artist working on projects in India. Following this, Ajay Devgn along with the makers of Total Dhamaal decided to not release their upcoming film in Pakistan. The attack, which happened on Thursday, was conducted by a suicide bomber named Adil Dar, working in the organisation named Jaish-E-Mohammad. 

Ajay wrote on Twitter, "In light of the current situation the team of Total Dhamaal has decided to not release the film in Pakistan." Talking about the same, in an interview, Ajay was asked about their decision of not releasing the film in Pakistan and the step they have taken in light of FWICE's recent band. To this Ajay said that they did what felt right by deciding to not release the film in Pakistan under the current circumstances. The team of Total Dhamaal has not only taken this crucial step but has also decided to donate Rs. 50 lakhs to the families of the martyred.

Total Dhamaal as known is a part of the Dhamaal franchise, and is the third instalment of the same. The film stars Arshad Waris, Javed Jaffrey, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Riteish Deshmukh, Johnny Lever and Anil Kapoor. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is set to hit the screens on February 22, 2019.
