If there one incident that has left the country shocked and enraged, then it is the Pulwama terror attack. The suicide bomber attack on the convoy of the CRPF jawans took place in Pulwama on February 14, 2019, has left everyone hurt over the loss of our jawans. Bollywood has been condemning this act of terror and joining them is Varun Dhawan. The actor took to Twitter today and shared a video in which we can see Anupam Kher reciting a heartfelt poem for the soldiers of the Indian Army. Varun who had condemned the attack a day back on social media, shared a video which was sent to him by his father, David Dhawan.
In the video, we can see Anupam Kher reciting a poem for our soldiers where he can be heard comparing lives of two men who left their houses at the age of 18 to pursue their work. One became a soldier and other went to IIT. But, in the end, Anupam says that one’s life went on normally, while the other one who was soldier never returned to wipe his wife’s tears. The poignant account was also shared by Anupam Kher on his Twitter account as well.
Anupam had captioned itas, “I got this poem/text as a message. It compares the life of a soldier with that of a civilian. It moved me & made me realise how easy it is to take armed forces & their sacrifices for granted. Please share it with the world. Thanks to the person who wrote it. #SaluteToASoldier”. Varun too shared the video and wrote, “The most amazing video my dad sent me today. @AnupamPKher this is beautiful.”

Varun along with the cast and crew of Street Dancer 3D was in London when the Pulwama attack took place. Before resuming work, Varun, Shraddha and the entire cast and crew observed a moment silence for the CRPF jawans who died in the Pulwama attack. Currently, Shraddha Kapoor along with Varun Dhawan are shooting for their upcoming film, Street Dancer 3D in London. Street Dancer 3D is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
