Priyanka Chopra shares a touching video on her dad Ashok Chopra's 5th death anniversary
Priyanka Chopra's dad Ashok Chopra passed away on June 10, 2013, owing to the illness of cancer. Today, on his fifth death anniversary, Priyanka shared a touching video.
Priyanka Chopra has always been expressive about how close she has been to her dad late Ashok Chopra. The actor went on to get inked which said, 'Daddy's lil girl" which is in her dad's handwriting.
Ashok Chopra died at the age of 64 in the year 2013, due to a prolonged illness of cancer. Today, that is June 10, 2018, marks the fifth death anniversary of Priyanka's dad and the actor took to her Instagram page and paid a tribute to him.
PeeCee shared a video which is filled with beautiful pictures and videos of the daughter-father duo. In the video, Priyanka wrote, "My dad was my best friend, my idol and my protector. He was the man of my life."
She also wrote, "I was very close to my father. He was my super hero, my idol. I wanted to grow up and be him. He used to perform on stage, he was a surgeon, he was an artist, he was the life of a party, gregarious laughter, extremely confident man."
Priyanka concluded the video saying, "Remembering my father Lt. Col. Dr. Ashok Chopra. The man who made his little girl believe that she could be anything she wanted... Miss you and love you forever..."
The loving daughter captioned the video on her Instagram page stating, "5 years today. Miss u dad"
