The teaser of Anushka Sharma‘s highly-anticipated supernatural thriller Pari is finally out and it will surely give you many sleepless nights.
Anushka took to her Twitter account to share this brief but scary as heck teaser and wrote, "Sweet dreams guys.’’
The 19 seconds long teaser begins with a closeup shot of the actress, looking pretty as usual. But with every progressing second, her face starts to transform. Blood smears appear on her face, flesh-deep cuts crawl out of her skin and she basically turns into your worst nightmare. Then, the title comes on the screen – Pari with a tagline, “Not a fairy tale’’.
Anushka is surely giving us goosebumps with her spine-chilling look.
The teaser of Anushka's new film also revealed the new release date of the movie. Earlier the film was supposed to hit screens on February 9 but is now slated to release on March 2, this year.
In Pari, Anushka is paired opposite Parambrata Chatterjee of Kahaani fame. The movie has been directed by Prosit Roy while Anushka Sharma's Clean Slate Films has produced the movie.
Talking about the film, Anushka had earlier stated, "We have gone by instinct in choosing good cinema, and the audiences have liked both our films.Pari is a strong, engaging story and our team is brilliant. It's the kind of project that I love producing and delivering to audiences."
Whereas, Parambrata added, "The script of Pari worked for me immediately. Anushka is a brilliant actor and a superstar. Working on this film will be an enriching experience."
