Guru Randhawa's High Rated Gabru and Ban Ja Rani are both upbeat numbers, but what if he gets a romantic tadka. Well, T-Series Mixtape Punjabi has come up with its new episode that features Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar. The episode started with Guru’s whistle from the song Ban Ja Rani and Neha joined him in recreating an all together new version of both the songs.

If you are a music buff, you would like the touch of instruments like the Ukeleles, Nylon, Steel, Electric guitars, glockenspiel with Tumbi, Thad, Tabla and dhols.

Talking about the mashup, Guru said, "It was great to know that both the songs selected for this mashup were my hit songs of the year. It was wonderful reliving and recreating yet another version of the song. The difference this time was the female voice in the song so a few lyrics has to be changed to suit Neha. She got the song in 1 take and has done full justice to it."

Neha added, "I thoroughly enjoyed performing and singing both these songs. Since both the songs belong to Guru and were hit songs of the year, delivering anything less than that wouldn’t do it justice. The lyrics of the song are also such that had us grooving on stage while singing it.”

Music Director Abhijit Vaghani also said, "We were considering a female voice to accompany Guru in this mashup and infact Guru suggested Neha Kakkar which was one of the best decisions. Being an all out male version we had to make changes in the lyrics and keys to suit the female counterpart. Additionally, Guru had created Ban Ja Rani as a single and it was further recreated for a movie, both of them having performed extremely well. So I took the base of Ban Ja Rani, added western elements and created a love version of the song being the only love version of the season."
