Manikarnika Bharat song: Kangana Ranaut’s soothing track shows her journey of becoming Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai

One of the much-awaited songs from Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika, Bharat was released today on YouTube and it surely will give you goosebumps. The song was launched by Kangana in a grand event in Gurugram where the actor-director was seen promoting the film as well. The song Bharat from Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi showcases the journey of a little Manu to becoming the most fierce freedom fighter that the Britishers had to face. 

Bharat’s soothing tunes are composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and is crooned by Shankar Mahadevan himself. The meaningful lyrics have been penned by Prasoon Joshi. The song surely gives you an insight into the mindset of a young girl who realises the importance of her nation and decides to fight for her country. In the video, we can see Manikarnika aka Kangana learning daring stunts with the sword to fight it out with the East India Company. We also get a glimpse of Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkari Bai who also played an important role in Rani Laxmibai’s army.

Meanwhile, with Manikarnika, Kangana is all set to make her directorial debut alongside Krish. The trailer of the movie was launched a few weeks back in a grand event in Mumbai. At the launch event, Kangana was present along with the other star cast from the movie. Manikarnika has been the talk of the town from quite some time. The earlier song, Vijayi Bhava was also liked by the audience. Now, we can’t wait to see Kangana as Rani Laxmibai in the movie which is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
