One of the first songs from Akshay Kumar’s much awaited film Kesari titled as Sanu Kehndi just came out on YouTube and we have to say, it will give you the squad goals. The song features Akshay Kumar and his battalion of Sikh soldiers having fun with each other and enjoying their time after their drills. Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh Soldiers fought with over 10,000 Afghans. The film features Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh who is the head of the battalion sent out to battle the Afghans.
The song begins on a fun note where the soldiers are teasing each other while practising their drills. Soon, Ishar Singh aka Akshay Kumar joins the fun with his fellow soldiers and they dance together. Sanu Kehndi from Kesari is a perfect boy squad song with an old school charm and some pretty good music. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Sanu Kehndi will surely leave you hooked.
Kesari’s first song is written by Kumaar and crooned by Romy along with Brijesh Sandilya. The song instils values of brotherhood and showcases how soldiers can also have fun while preparing for battle. The dance steps have been choreographed by ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is a historical film which will feature the bravest battle ever fought. The movie also features Parineeti Chopra in a never before seen avatar. She is playing the love interest of Akshay Kumar. The trailer left everyone awestruck by the valour and courage displayed by the soldiers under the leadership of Havildar Ishar Singh aka Akshay Kumar. The movie is being produced by Cape of Good Films, Dharma Productions and Azure Entertainment. Kesari is slated to release on March 21, 2019.
