Kedarnath - Abhishek Kapoor starts the 2nd schedule of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's film
Amidst all controversies, Abhishek Kapoor resumes the shoot of his directorial titled Kedarnath. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.
Abhishek Kapoor's directorial Kedarnath took a controversial turn when the producers KriArj Entertainment and T-Series departed from the film. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.
While KriArj Entertainment representatives have blamed Kapoor's unprofessional behaviour and mismanagement as the reason for a constant delay in the movie, Kapoor's representative has said there was "lack of transparency in KriArj Entertainment's financial dealings."
There were reports of Kedarnath being shelved but Arjun N. Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment denied the reports. He said to a media agency, "Firstly, the film is not shelved. It 'is' and not 'was'. It is very much on. I know, as a producer, that many fortunes are involved with every film."
Arjun also stated, "So Sara's career is surely important forKriArj. Not only hers but everyone involved in the film. Having said that, there was a valid reason for us to move the court and we are confident that things will be sorted out soon."
Today, Abhishek took to his Instagram page and shared a video of continuing with the second schedule of Kedarnath. He posted a video, where he is seen performing a puja of Lord Shiva. Gattu captioned the video saying, "The journey continues.. schedule 2 underway #kedarnath #jaibholenath @sushantsinghrajput #saraalikhan."

Kedarnath is based on the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. Earlier talking about the film, Abhishek stated to the daily, "In my house, spirituality has been a guiding principle. I am a big believer of Shivji and the cosmic forces that oversee us. There are two kinds of people in the spiritual world — believers and seekers. A believer has trust in the universe and a seeker is someone who is trying to gain that trust. I’ve been both, and I have had some great experiences spiritually. I’m originally a seeker, but at times, I’ve found myself fully immersed in God."
