Karan Johar misses Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement bash; sends a bouquet
Karan Johar could not attend Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' engagement bash as he was busy shooting for the promo of the next season of his talk show Koffee with Karan.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official today after their roka ceremony. They shared photos from the puja with their fans on their social media accounts. Priyanka Chopra captioned the photos, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul.” The couple lovingly gazes at each other in the photo with which they confirmed their engagement. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged in London on her birthday last month. Nick Jonas popped the question with a Tiffany & Co ring.
The couple hosted a bash at her residence in Mumbai today and had invited close friends from the industry. Priyanka Chopra had invited Karan Johar too; the director-actor shared cold vibes at one point. Karan Johar had posted a tweet slamming Priyanka Chopra’s ‘sources’. Karan and Priyanka had a fallout after collaborating in films like Dostana and Agneepath. Priyanka Chopra’s alleged source had given a quote in a leading daily about how Karan sided with Gauri Khan and ignored Priyanka Chopra because of her growing closeness to Shah Rukh Khan.
However, the two are cordial now and Karan had even invited Priyanka to his 40th birthday party. Priyanka was also a part of a Koffee with Karan episode. Karan and Priyanka interacted recently at Manish Malhotra’s bash and even posed for photos together. Karan was invited at the bash today, but could not attend it as he was busy shooting for the promo of his talk show, Koffee with Karan.
