Kangana Ranaut is a huge fan of Sridevi. During an interview with a leading daily, she had said, ‘’Right from my childhood till now I’m a big fan of Sridevi.”
Kangana had also shared one of her childhood incidents that prove she is a die-hard fan of Sridevi. She had shared, “My cousin and I were very fond of Sridevi in our childhood but at that time I was not allowed to watch TV as my family was more concerned about my studies. Well once at the age of six, I saw Sridevi in an advertisement for the very first time and at that moment I asked my mom to break the TV so that I could get Sridevi out of it.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana will be seen playing the role of Rani Laxmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Recently, when quizzed about her marriage plans, Kangana had stated, "I don’t know why our society wants women to marry by the age of 30. It is very unfortunate. I am not getting married anytime soon and I am not even 30."
On the other hand, Sridevi was last seen in the movie MOM produced by hubby Boney Kapoor. The movie, which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, fared decently at the box office. There are also reports that Sridevi is all set to collaborate with the director of English Vinglish, Gauri Shinde for the sequel of the film.
