Kalank Trailer Out: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's movie has heartbreaking layers of love
Kalank’s trailer featuring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit was released today. Kalank showcases the epic saga of love set in the pre-partition period. Take a look.
Kalank’s trailer was among the much awaited ones of this year and just a few minutes ago, it was released in the presence of the entire star cast. Kalank is a multi-starrer project whose ensemble cast includes Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. The teaser just gave the fans a brief glimpse of the epic love saga set in the pre-partition period between Zafar and Roop played by Varun and Alia, respectively.
After the release of the teaser, three of the songs from the film were released. This included the semi-classical soft ballad featuring the jugalbandi between Alia and Madhuri in Ghar More Pardesiya and the peppy track, First Class which was shot on Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. Post these two numbers, the makers released Kalank’s title track which was soft love ballad crooned by Arijit Singh. All three songs are topping the charts.
Kalank’s trailer launch event saw the entire cast and crew of the film coming together. Aditya, Varun, Alia, Sonakshi, Sanjay, Madhuri were present at the event. Alia and Varun were playing the hosts of the event. Now, Kalank’s trailer featuring the story of Roop, Zafar, Satya, Dev, Balraj and Begum Bahaar has been unveiled and it surely has left the fans excited and intrigued. Directed by Abhishek Varman, the film is a dream project of Karan Johar’s father, Yash Johar and before the launch of the teaser, Karan had penned an emotional post for Kalank. Kalank is produced by Karan Johar and is slated to release on April 17, 2019.
