Ishaan Khatter clears the air about dating Janhvi Kapoor; watch
Recently, at an event in Mumbai, Ishaan Khatter was asked about Karan Johar quizzing Janhvi Kapoor on their alleged affair. Here's what he has to say. Read on.
Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's dating rumours started doing the rounds, long before they were seen in Dhadak. Their friendship blossomed during the making of the film Dhadak, and it's just getting stronger by the day. Janhvi and Ishaan bonded over their mutual love for films and food, and their offscreen friendship benefitted their film, Dhadak. Recently, at an event in Mumbai, Ishaan was asked about Karan Johar quizzing Janhvi on their alleged affair.
On this, Ishaan said, "He didn't joke about it but asked the question on a serious note. He generally puts everyone under the scanner. I spoke to him (about dating Janhvi) on the show. The episode will air soon." Well, Karan had aksed Janhvi about the rumours of her dating Janhvi when she appeared at the Koffee with Karan show. In the episode, Janhvi was seen denying the rumours and Arjun Kapoor was seen pulling her leg by saying that Ishaan is always around her.
In an earlier interview with a leading publication, Ishaan opened up about his equation with Janhvi. "The first time I met Janhvi on the sets, I took her to watch La La Land, because she hadn't seen it. Soon, we started bonding over cinema - both of us are film buffs - and we realized we share a natural equation," he said.
Ishaan Khatter will be making his debut in Karan's show with brother Shahid Kapoor. Shahid has appeared on the show five times and this will be his sixth appearance.
