Priyanka Chopra’s close friends threw a bridal shower for her in New York City. The pre-wedding celebrations have begun and the bride-to-be wore a Marchesa strapless dress for her bridal shower. The party was held at Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Box Café in New York City. The guests included Kelly Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o, Kevin Jonas, Danielle Jonas, as per a report in US Weekly. Priyanka’s best friend Mubina Rattonsey and her manager Anjula Acharia hosted the party. They gave speeches at the do and Priyanka Chopra’s Bollywood hit songs were played by the DJ.
All the guests were given a return gift which included a bottle of champagne and a special gift. Priyanka had herself posted a photo on her Instagram account ahead of the bridal shower. She had shared, “My girls r in town! #anyreasontoparty #preweddingcelebrations”. While entering the venue, Priyanka was asked by the paps how excited she is for the bash, she had said, “So much”. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra will reportedly get married on December 1, 2018.
The wedding will reportedly take place in Jodhpur at Umaid Bhawan Palace and the pre-wedding festivities including the sangeet and a party will take place at the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. Nick and Priyanka visited the venues during his last trip to India.
The couple met through a common friend a few years ago and began dating in May this year. In July, Nick Jonas proposed to Priyanka Chopra on her birthday and the couple announced their engagement after their roka ceremony in August.
