INSIDE Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s engagement bash: Nita Ambani’s special performance
At her engagement bash, Isha performed with mother Nita Ambani on a song from Baar Baar Dekho, ‘Nach De Ne Saare’. The mother-daughter duo looked adorable as they matched steps on stage.
Isha Ambani’s engagement bash at the Ambani residence saw many of their close friends in attendance. Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were the first to arrive to congratulate the couple. Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal over the weekend.
Anand proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. The couple celebrated the occasion with their parents – Nita, Mukesh, Swati and Ajay, Isha’s grandparents, Kokilaben Ambani and Purnimaben Dalal, Isha’s twin brother Akash, younger brother Anant, Anand’s sister Nandini, Peter, Anya, Dev and other family members.
The couple made their first public appearance yesterday as they arrived with their families to seek blessings at a temple in the city.
At the engagement bash today, Isha looked ravishing in a gold and white colored lehenga. Karan Johar who is close to the Ambani family arrived at the engagement bash straight from Sonam Kapoor’s Mehendi function.
Karan shared a selfie from the do with Isha and Akash Ambani. Akash Ambani also got engaged recently to long-time girlfriend Shloka Mehta.Weddings of both, Isha and Akash will be organized in December this year.
