Alia Bhatt opened up about her father Mahesh Bhatt's comments about Ranbir Kapoor in an interview today. Mahesh Bhatt had said that Ranbir is a great guy in an interview.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have not kept their relationship a secret. The lovebirds admitted earlier this year that they are dating. Ranbir Kapoor reportedly asked Alia Bhatt out on New Year’s Eve last year in Tel Aviv. Ranbir Kapoor said in an interview to GQ magazine that their relationship is too new and needs time to cook. Alia also revealed at an event a few months ago that she is not single. The couple’s family is also fond of their partners and have given their seal of approval.
Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt talked about her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and said that they are in love. He added that Ranbir is a great guy for her and that he loves him. He also praised Ranbir for his fabulous performance in Sanju. Talking about the couple’s plans to get married, he said that it is their prerogative and for them to figure out where they take their relationship. Alia Bhatt was asked about her father accepting their relationship and being fond of Ranbir at Kids’ Choice Awards today.
Alia deftly dodged the question but when prodded again by reporters, she said, “To be honest, I don’t want to talk about it, I am feeling shy. But, I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me.”
In the interaction Alia also revealed that she was not upset in the leaked photos from the sets of Brahmastra and it was her ‘resting face’.
