"Abhi tak India chup tha. Ab hum log bolega aur duniya sunega." (India has been silent till now. Now, we will speak and the world will listen.)

Akshay Kumar is currently waiting for his latest outing PadMan to release this Friday. After the biopic which is based on Arunachalam Muruganantham (the inventor of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas), Akshay will be focused on his next biopic, Gold. The movie which is directed by Reema Kagti also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.

The poster of the movie had fans excited and now for some good news, the teaser of Gold is finally out and it is well worth the wait.

In the teaser, we are introduced to Akshay's character who is a 'paagal' Bengali who is in love with the sport of hockey. He makes it his sole mission to lead Team India at the Olympics and help them win their first Gold medal post Independence in 1948. We get minor glimpses of Kunal and Amit's characters, both of whom are hockey players.

Naagin actress Mouni Roy will be making her much talked about Bollywood debut with Gold but the teaser had only a small blink and miss appearance. It looks like her character is being kept under wraps for now.
